Okay, we made our first stop already cuz dad's not here. So, the peas are happening early frequently. They will be happening early and they will be happening. There are four tiny bladders in the car and we have no sense of urgency. So, I've taken on the role of father today and every time we stop instead of sitting for 20 minutes, cuz we'll get there at 9:00 p.m. if we do that. Instead of sitting in the car and letting everyone sit for 20 minutes, I'm gonna I'm I'm going go go get in the go go go to the bathroom. Go now. Go. Let's go. No. Don't worry, guys. I'll give you a little video on what that looks like. We have to go. Let's go. Everyone out of the car. Let's go. Let's go. Let's go. Everyone out. Talk to you, buddy. I know. I'm filming you. Come on. Let's go. Come on. Let's go. Estimated time arrival is already 4:17. Oh my gosh. Which we've known. Unsure why she's surprised. But yeah, so with all the pea stops goes along for the ride. That's really cool. And they joke like the logistics of everything is just like she's nowhere to be found. But she does other amazing things. Okay. She prepares, she does research. She does email outreach. Yeah. She does lots of I helped us get the hotel. She's pretty much our assistant and host. No, I'm just kidding. You do a great job. I didn't even do that. But anyway, you don't even No, we are on route. I was doing that. Well, I wrote the question. She does stuff. I swear. Yeah, you and Chad JBT are This thing looks dark. Ellen and I were messing with the camera settings. I feel like we might have messed it up a little bit. Actually, we should probably put it back to I did, but I'm going to change them. Anyh who, on our way to New York for one interview, but they're worth it. 24 hours. But they're worth it. We promise. We're very, very excited. We are. And also stressed always. So, in one week today, we're going to be in San Diego. Going to be in California for 6 days. So, we have to figure out all the packing. and L's been working hard figuring out how we're going to pack a bunch of tripods and all the equipment we need. Mics, four mics. Like, it's it's going to be um it's going to be it all. And today we also have a Zoom call in the car with another possible high-profile guest that we're very excited about. So, it's going to be a day. Morning sunshine. [Laughter] What? I'm not going to lie though. Like this weather, this pillow. These earphones and the Gracie playlist is all I need. What is this? Dear diary. No, don't do that. Get out of here. It's been two hours.

car. Heat. Heat. N. [Music] So spooky. This is so spooky. After about an hour of carpool karaoke, we've arrived at our first gas station stop. We are at half gas. We have about 4 and 1/2 hours left. We have to have lunch. There was a good like hour span there. We couldn't find any food. So, we have ripped into all of the snacks. And we have a call in about an hour. So, we got to eat something. We got to nourish. Yep. Correct. Going for more there. Yeah. Time to go to Subway in the middle of nowhere. So bright. Oh no. What happened? There's a puddle. Okay, just about to hop on our one:00 calling our Zoom on the road. Yeah, I'm a little sleepy. I've kind of been napping all morning.

We're scring. We also finished our call and it went really well. Maddy's right into business. We're going straight into business. Um, no one is O, but everyone is in ours. Matt would say triple O. Triple O. I'm going to pay $45 for the upgraded space.

Yeah, we finished our call. Feel like it went well. Yeah. Like maybe. Yeah. So So, yay.

All righty. We are almost there. We're an hour and a half away. I checked off all the to-dos on my calendar. I just put all of our I had like an itinerary for all of our guests. I put all the guest info for my itinerary into my Google calendar. So, I've been productive in between my hour naps that I've been taking. Honestly, feels great. Highly recommend going on a road trip where your mom drives and you take hour naps at a time. Would highly recommend. Ellie, anything to add? And then she's taking one of those hour naps right as right now. I'm a little nervous about taking the bridge, but Matthew Connie is going to get out of his taxi and or he's going to go on his motorcycle and he's going to find you and he's going to get you to get out of the car and confess your love for him. That's what's going to happen. Confess his love for me. Cuz Yeah, cuz that's what happened in the 19 days on that very bridge. Do you see it? You see it? Okay. Everything's going to be fine. I'm afraid of bridges over water. Bridge over water. First job. First stop in the city. I haven't had any liquids in hours. Um um we're parched. We're thirsty. Water stat. He always needs food. Thank you. We're going to get some gas first. Burp. We're almost there. Can't really see it, but the bridge is right over there.

[Applause] We're almost there.

Oh my god. Look, my eyes watering. Can you see it? Oh my god. Do you need any of my eye water? Oh, I missed it. So, it turns out Oh my god, my hair. We had the windows open. Turns out that was not the Manhattan Bridge where they filmed how this guy in 10 days, but it was a bridge that took us to Manhattan. So, I'm I'm calling it. That's same to me. Film on that bridge. I don't know. But you know what? It was a bridge. It was a bridge and it I will hold it dear to my heart. Where? Okay. I always thought that Toronto, New York had the same weather, but I don't think so. Cuz like here it's 23 and at home it's 7. But I also think it's a fluke. Like tomorrow it's going to be seven here.

It's going to rain. Joe's. We're here. Um, we made it to the hotel. Yeah. Hello. Um, we are going to Trader Joe's because it is a Canadian urban legend. Well, I don't know if that's the right term, but we are very excited to try it. We've literally never been. every time we're in the States. I also freshened up my makeup cuz I was like 8 hours in the car on and off naps did not give me a cute look. But didn't give the postnap glow you thought it would. No, we are here. I don't know why it's so blurry, but we are here. Off to Trader Joe's. Okay. Those tonight did. Did you get anything else? Kind of girly. I'm not even hungry. She's just snacking. We also went to Shake Shack. So good. Just so good. We had We all had a burger and we split a bunch of fries. So good. And um they gave us the lemonade that you can get free refills. Feeling grateful. Loving it. No complaint. I journaled in two different journals. My regular journal and my travel journal. What? And my neck hurts from bending over like this. How long did that take? You didn't even notice you were doing that. Yeah, a long time. But anyway, I took a shower. It's been a nice time. Probably going to go to bed soon cuz we got to get up early tomorrow. Yeah, we're going to do face masks first together. This painting by Gustaf Clement. I have a painting by Gustaf Clement in my room. So, it's just followed me here. Yeah. Feels really funny. Was yours like a knockoff? Like the real thing? It's a print. It's not the original. And now we're going to hit the sheets cuz we got to get up early tomorrow. So, good night. It is 6:30 in the morning. Good morning. Good morning. It's 6 a.m. on a [ __ ] Tuesday. Yes. So, [ __ ] up. We're going to the conference room. [Music] That looks very hydrating. Oh, it's good. Yeah. We are going to get ready. Why is it blue? I don't know. And then we're going to go have breakfast. And you know what? I'm excited. Then we're going to set up and then after the interview, we're going to have Chelsea bagels, my donuts at Trader Joe's. And you're going to go to We're going to get the bread coffee or pray. I don't there's good food options around here thankfully. We're going to we're going to get yummy stuff and then we're going to hight tail it out of here cuz then we got to get back home. Wow. One of you we are back and we are done number well that's number two but it's the number one in New York and we'll be back in May but we're done. And they were so lovely. They were so beautiful and so lovely. They were just glowing. They were striking. They were striking when they walked in. Anyway, it was so much fun. And I'm a little sleepy cuz we were up very early. It was funny cuz we did the interview. We filmed the interview at 9:00 a.m., but we were up at 6:00 a.m. and started staying up at 8:00 a.m. And it literally doesn't even feel like it happened. It's been a whirlwind. Um, so I'm excited to get a bagel and a coffee. Yeah. And finally digest that it's done.

We have bought our bagels. We have got my coffee is spilling over. This is our gun dash square, you square. We're in time. [Music] We are on our way down. This is where I We are on our way home and we have caught a bit of traffic. So, that's not very fun. But it's true. Okay, we're all pumped full of caffeine. Even though I'm exhausted. Yo, how feeling? Isn't it really to be exhausted and yet wired all at the same time? Yes. I just feel like I have a hangover, but it's like a headache. I'm tired. Yeah, we are PRs away from home. Not going to lie, I had a cheese stick for dinner along with other things like yogurt and we ate lunch pretty late. So, we're getting there, though. 3 hours left. Ooh, it's 11 11 p.m. [ __ ] we are finally home and we are going to bed cuz that was exhausting. So you can see the hair got crazy. Good night. We stayed in the beautiful Westgate New York Grand Central for the duration of our stay and it was really fun. The Westgate treated us to a cozy room and a beautiful boardroom to film in, and the location was just spectacular.
